Our Story
"I didn’t always take this work seriously. In 2017, film felt like a hobby. Something I did for fun with my friends, borrowing my parents’ DSLR and running around between online school and a fast food job. I’d study ASC Members in my downtime, try new camera tricks during lunch breaks, and piece together random edits at night.
But somewhere along the way, it shifted. What started as curiosity turned into something I couldn’t stop thinking about. I made a fake commercial for a friend, and it sparked this weird, relentless need to get better. And then better. And then the best. By 18, I quit my job and jumped into freelancing full time.
Today, Zylo celebrates over 750 projects since 2018 in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. We are grateful to have collaborated with clients such as Google, Disney, Microsoft, National Geographic, ESPN, GK Hair, Elevation Film and more. But honestly… the client list isn’t the point.
What matters to me is that this work means something. That it reflects real moments. Real experiences. A lot of what I create is personal, even if it’s not obvious. It comes from things I’ve lived through. I’ve learned that not everyone will understand it, and that’s fine. The right people do.
This career has been full of wins and mistakes. And I’ve learned to be okay with both. I’m surrounded by people who care, who push the work forward, who show up on set and pour everything they’ve got into a single shot. We build teams that feel like family. We run take after take until it feels right. And when it does, it’s worth it.
At the end of the day, I just want to make things that resonate. That move people. That move me.
That’s what keeps me here… and I'm forever grateful."
